What is 'Save the Tiger' going to do for our Tigers?

Check Out What People Have to Say:
Gigi Bedi says:
Im really grateful that you have started this initiative and im glad to see that there are a lot of people supporting the fight against this major crisis.. Although I see the hoardings and webpages and I see the roaring increase each day.. I still haven't come across any plan of action.

The mission of this initiative is very vague. It would be great if you would let us know what WWF & Aircel are going to do about the problem and what we can do to help?

How are the donations going to be used?
Are you going to help build teams to crack down on poachers?
Are you raising funds to build better surveillance and security around reserves?
Are you starting an education drive to inform the local villages and tribes about the crisis? Are you going to figure out a way to use them to acquire information about the local poachers?
Are you giving out rewards for their capture?

I havn't found any information on the sites about this.

There are a lot of people supporting Save the Tiger but what we supporters need to know is what are you going to do with our support?

Will this initiative also be a let down like Project Tiger or are we really going to help this gorgeous beast?

Are we going to Save the TIger or Is this another pointless fad we are blindly following?

Megha Singh says:
Im really happy to see, at least someone is sensible enough to ask such questions!!
I totally relate to Gigi Bedi!! I mean how come this fan page gonna SAVE THE TIGERS?? im sure, nobody on dis fan page is gonna go to the jungles and save our national animal!!
Supporting a nobel cause virtually is a great idea, but the bottom line is how can this be worked out in real life situation!!

Can somebody please explain this?
